Pressure Treated fencing has become more popular here in CO., because it looks like Ranch Style Fencing but is actually Pine posts and rails, creating the same look but cost less than cedar. The other benefit of using pressure treated material is you do not have to stain it as it is already sealed. Just remember water is not its friend as overtime water from sprinklers will extract the pressure treatment. Many new neighborhoods have allowed pressure treated fencing as an alternative of cedar.
